Brief Description:

I was going to make a basic cake for my son and he decided in the morning for me to make the design of on Xbox controller. I was like, I have never done one. So between him and I, we decorated it and it came out. It looked & tasted great.

Ingredients:

1 box of cake mix (followed instructions on cake box)
frosting: 1 philadelphia cream cheese box
4 sticks of non-salted butter
1/2 lb. of powder sugar
1 box of fondant, & food coloring

Steps:

we baked the cake and let it cool down.I started to cut the shape of the cake into the controller.Once that was done, we frosted the cake with my homemade frosting.We saved some fondant for the buttons and used food coloring for them.We put the cake in the refrigerator.I rolled out the fondant, since it was white I did not need to put any food coloring.I covered the frosted cake with the fondant,smooth out any bumps,& put it in the refrigerator while I worked with the buttons.Once those were done, we decorated the cake with the buttons.The cake was complete.
