What a Pair!!

Description

Ethan, my oldest son, loves football. I knew he was going to be a football player for Halloween, and having his little baby brother be a football was perfect.

Materials

The football player costume is a Denver Broncos Jersey size 2T, orange active pants from Gymboree, and white tennis shoes from Target. Since there weren't shoulder pads small enough, I made his own out of toilet paper stuffed in a onesie underneath the jersey.
The football is made from brown fleece and white bias tape for the lacing. It was really easy and only took me about 30 minutes to make!

Instructions

  • For the football, cut the brown fleece using a onesie for a guide. Cut one 6-7 in. piece and six 1 1/2 in. pieces of bias tape.Place bias tape to look like lacing on the front right-side of fleece and sew. Turn right-side in and sew up the sides. Turn right-side out and iron on velcro at the shoulders for the closures.

Tips for Taking a Great Photo:
    • Avoid clutter. Keep the background simple -- your costume is the star!
    • Daytime, natural light is best. If your area is bright enough, try taking the photo without the flash.
    • Upload a horizontal photo. If you crop the image on your computer, make sure you keep a landscape 4:3 aspect ratio.
    • For best results, make your image 1200x900 (or "save for web").
    • With a digital camera, you can take as many photos as possible and choose the best one. Have fun!
