Description

You can make as many trash cubes as you want to with this Wall-E (Waste Allocation Load Lifter - Earth Class) Halloween costume. This was a very fun costume to make and I'm sure it will be even more fun to wear. It is sure to turn heads this Halloween!

Materials

1 cardboard box
Paint
Paint pens
Styrofoam for the wheels
Tie wraps to attach Wall-E grabber arms
Gorilla glue
Pop light to illuminate the Solar Charge Level
Vellum paper for the Solar Charge Level
Wall-E mask

Instructions

  • Prime box with Kiltz and paint yellow. Paint on graphics and details

  • Measure child and cut holes for head and arms.

  • Cut slots in box for the Solar Charge Level. Attact vellum paper from the inside to allow light to shine through. Attach Pop light with velcro dots in top of box to illuminate Solar Charge Level.

  • Measure placement of Wall-E grabber arms and use tie wraps to attach to box.

  • Measure and cut styrofoam for wheels. Paint wheels and add details to wheels. Attach wheels with Gorilla Glue to sides of cardboard box.

  • Fold front and back flaps under and secure with tape.

  • Surprise nephew with Wall-E costume and get ready to trick-or-treat!!!

    Tips for Taking a Great Photo:
    • Avoid clutter. Keep the background simple -- your costume is the star!
    • Daytime, natural light is best. If your area is bright enough, try taking the photo without the flash.
    • Upload a horizontal photo. If you crop the image on your computer, make sure you keep a landscape 4:3 aspect ratio.
    • For best results, make your image 1200x900 (or "save for web").
    • With a digital camera, you can take as many photos as possible and choose the best one. Have fun!
