SWEET DOPEY

Description

My daugther was coming out in a talent show as dopey but she didn't want to look all dumb or boyish like the original costume so we came out with this idea. With this idea everyone hought she looked so sweet and precious dopey.

Materials

An adults shiny shirt if turtle neck better.
a pair of leggings to match teh shirt
an old black belt
some gold beads to cover the buckle
a glue gun a sticks
velcro
squares of the same color material for patches and hat
card board for the ears and cone hat
an old pair of panty hose to cover ears
any boots to go with the costume
bag of cotton

Instructions

  • You can use and old shirt siny preferably that fits your daughter down to the knees.cut open from back to adjust the size you can use a glue gun to paste velcro on the back to fit it. Then make squares patches out of same color material as leggings for both arms and glue also.
    now for the belt cover the buckle with beads to make it more pretty.

  • the hat is made from the same material as the patches first make a cone hat out of cardboard and measure your childs head make sure it fits tight cause the material will be a litle less tight. then cover the cone with material and paste it together after it dries cut the exra material and take the cardboard of and measure again on childs head making sure it fits well.

  • fianlly make ears on cardboard and cover them with the pantyhose pasting witht he glue gun and paste them lastly in hat. you can put some coton in the top f hat to pose it how she want it. with a pair of black boots its all done.
    makeup is an option

    Tips for Taking a Great Photo:
