Instructions
Make a simple satin stapless dress using elastic at the top. Sew 2 ribbons to the front to tie around the neck.
Measure an piece of elastic around the child and sew the end together. Cut strips of tulle. Loop the tulle onto the elastic till you have a very large full tutu.
Use a stiff piece of material to make the cone hat and attached satin to the outside. (you can find patternes for this kind of hat in several princess dress costume patterns). Attach a piece of tulle to the top and ribbon for straps around the neck.
Tips for Taking a Great Photo:
- Avoid clutter. Keep the background simple -- your costume is the star!
- Daytime, natural light is best. If your area is bright enough, try taking the photo without the flash.
- Upload a horizontal photo. If you crop the image on your computer, make sure you keep a landscape 4:3 aspect ratio.
- For best results, make your image 1200x900 (or "save for web").
- With a digital camera, you can take as many photos as possible and choose the best one. Have fun!
