Instructions
Cut arm holes and a head hole in the cardboard box. Use caution with the knife or scissors.
Cover the front of the box with black paper, and all other sides with white paper. Attach the paper with the glue.
Carefully drill holes for the lights in the pattern of choice (we did a jack-o-lantern).
Feed lights into the holes from inside the box. Tape down the wires and battery packs to the inside of the box.
Use the markers to color logos on the sides and back of the box. We also used the markers to color the all-white strands of lights into the colors we desired (orange, green, yellow).
Smile and enjoy everyone telling you how great your costume is!
Tips for Taking a Great Photo:
- Avoid clutter. Keep the background simple -- your costume is the star!
- Daytime, natural light is best. If your area is bright enough, try taking the photo without the flash.
- Upload a horizontal photo. If you crop the image on your computer, make sure you keep a landscape 4:3 aspect ratio.
- For best results, make your image 1200x900 (or "save for web").
- With a digital camera, you can take as many photos as possible and choose the best one. Have fun!
