Description
My 5 year old son Rylan loves Lego's so it was easy to decide what he was going to be for Halloween. My husband made the costume which was a big hit at the school Halloween Festival
Materials
To make the costume we used corregated plastic board, a painted piece of foam for the top, foam letter "c"'s for the hands, markers and double sided tape.
Instructions
Head: Cut a rectangular piece of plastic, draw on the face and cut the eye holes. Form into a circular shape. Cut circle piece for the top and attach circle foam for the top.
Body: Cut plastic into desired shape. Draw on outfit.
Hands: Use foam letter "C"'s to make the hands. Attach to a long piece for child to hold.
Tips for Taking a Great Photo:
- Avoid clutter. Keep the background simple -- your costume is the star!
- Daytime, natural light is best. If your area is bright enough, try taking the photo without the flash.
- Upload a horizontal photo. If you crop the image on your computer, make sure you keep a landscape 4:3 aspect ratio.
- For best results, make your image 1200x900 (or "save for web").
- With a digital camera, you can take as many photos as possible and choose the best one. Have fun!
