Instructions
Using a large box, cut out all of the bottom of the box then tape the inside of the top of the box closed and cut a out a center square (enough room for your little one to stand in). Then, cut out 6 round wheels from the bottom of the box that was cutout.
Paint the box and wheels blue and the can black. After box dries, paint a red bumper all the way around the bottom of the box and red and yellow lines (see phone of costume). Then using a black permanent marker or pencil and then paint, draw in your trains face and any other designs youd like.
Once all paint is dry, cut out strips of ribbon and either staple or glue onto the top of the custom for straps to hold the custom on your little one. Glue the wheels onto the costume and using glue or double sided tape, add the funnel and light. Enjoy!
- Avoid clutter. Keep the background simple -- your costume is the star!
- Daytime, natural light is best. If your area is bright enough, try taking the photo without the flash.
- Upload a horizontal photo. If you crop the image on your computer, make sure you keep a landscape 4:3 aspect ratio.
- For best results, make your image 1200x900 (or "save for web").
- With a digital camera, you can take as many photos as possible and choose the best one. Have fun!
