Description
Here is my son's Captain Hook costume. It is all hand made using original patterns. Everything on the costume was made by me except for the hook, sword, and shoes. It was a big hit. The hat was made with cloth and wire and doll hair stiched in to the hat so it all is one piece. I also made a bag for him that was of the croc looking up at him.
Materials
Fabric, lace, Doll hair and tights.
Instructions
I took measurements and made a basic pattern for the jacket.
Iused a pair of pajama pants to make a pattern for the pants.
Tips for Taking a Great Photo:
- Avoid clutter. Keep the background simple -- your costume is the star!
- Daytime, natural light is best. If your area is bright enough, try taking the photo without the flash.
- Upload a horizontal photo. If you crop the image on your computer, make sure you keep a landscape 4:3 aspect ratio.
- For best results, make your image 1200x900 (or "save for web").
- With a digital camera, you can take as many photos as possible and choose the best one. Have fun!
