Description
My daughter and I decided on this outfit one day while we were watching Toy Story. I am not great with the sewing machine so I started early on this project. I made a simple dress with a pettiskirt underneath and bloomers then made a corset and bonnet. I finished it with a crook and a lamb.
Materials
Satin blanket binding
I used whatever Pink scrap material I could find.
Bought a few types of lace and trims items on sale.
White electrical tape.
Lamb puppet.

Instructions
I used a bonnet pattern for the hat.
I mixed and matched a couple of dress patterns for the dress. I used Satin blanket binding for the bottom of the skirt and the neckline. I also used it to make the waist for the pettiskirt under the dress.
I used another pattern for the bloomers with a pretty lace to finish the bottom.
I took a bed canopy she didn't like made of some sort of a lightweight dark pink material to make a pettiskirt. The same material was used to make the corset using another pattern.
I found an old cane and wrapped with white electrical tape then put a lamb puppet on with a piece of lace.
For the shoes I simply used the fabric slippers from her dressup trunk and slipped over a pair of her shoes.
Tips for Taking a Great Photo:
- Avoid clutter. Keep the background simple -- your costume is the star!
- Daytime, natural light is best. If your area is bright enough, try taking the photo without the flash.
- Upload a horizontal photo. If you crop the image on your computer, make sure you keep a landscape 4:3 aspect ratio.
- For best results, make your image 1200x900 (or "save for web").
- With a digital camera, you can take as many photos as possible and choose the best one. Have fun!
