Spray Paint (2)
Christmas lights (1 set)
Tutu Material (10 yd)
Pink ribbon (1)
Wig (1)
Elastic band (1)
super glue (1)
Instructions
Cut carboard according to your height, add together with paper (yes, paper works) and super glue. Add handles inside for easy moving (also made with carboard). Cut and spray paint as you like or with an actual barbie box model.
There are different ways to make a tutu, if you want the simple way, cut as a ruffle skirt, if you want as in the picture, cut several (several) rows of tutu material and add to an elastic band (to make skirt) you can add little decorations as flowers. Battery operated Christmas lights are optional and can be either sew or attached with a ribbon.
For the top you can either use a swimming suit or an actual ballet top, color or decorated with anything you like, add material tutu to make it match with skirt. Wig is optional.
Photo shows final result but I have all step by step pictures :)
- Avoid clutter. Keep the background simple -- your costume is the star!
- Daytime, natural light is best. If your area is bright enough, try taking the photo without the flash.
- Upload a horizontal photo. If you crop the image on your computer, make sure you keep a landscape 4:3 aspect ratio.
- For best results, make your image 1200x900 (or "save for web").
- With a digital camera, you can take as many photos as possible and choose the best one. Have fun!
