Bald Eagle Costume

Contest Photo by: Farrah001

Description

Handmade Bald Eagle Costume. My daughter said she wanted to fly, so I gave her wings. For the head I used a one-hole ski-mask, with white feathers. The body is a sweat shirt and cut off sweat pants, with brown faux fur. Wings are turkey tail feathers, and the tail is a turkey tail. Finish it off with yellow soccer socks and a yellow bird beak. A little white face paint and black eyeliner, and you have a bird in the house.

Tips for Taking a Great Photo:
    • Avoid clutter. Keep the background simple -- your costume is the star!
    • Daytime, natural light is best. If your area is bright enough, try taking the photo without the flash.
    • Upload a horizontal photo. If you crop the image on your computer, make sure you keep a landscape 4:3 aspect ratio.
    • For best results, make your image 1200x900 (or "save for web").
    • With a digital camera, you can take as many photos as possible and choose the best one. Have fun!
