Description
I wanted a ballerina costume for my 5 month baby girl, Camilla, but they are so expensive, so i decided to do a no sew custume for my baby. Here is the picture and the instructions and it only cost me less than 3.50 dlls. I only bought the tulle and the ribbon and I used things that I already had in the house. The more you have, the less you spend.
Materials
Things you might have in your house, just try to coordinate the colors.
*plain baby headband
*long sleeve onesie, turtle neck or anything that has snaps at the crotch
*any soft shoes or perhaps you have a ballerinas or socks that have a design like ballerinas
*flat rhinestones
*3 yards of lace [2yd = 1 for each shoe] [1yd for the baby waist]
*2 yards of tulle or tutu net
*any strong glue
*note :you can use any string or elastic for the waist to make the tutu

Instructions
Instructions:
Roll the 2 yards of tulle and cut it every 2 inches, then cut every tulle 2 times the length you want for the baby, take the tulle, fold in half and tie it, by taking the loop and pull the other two ends thru the loop and pull it tight,do that until you want the right amount for the tutu. For the headband lightly trace a crown design and then glue the rhinestones. Then use 1 yd of ribbon on each shoe, simulating the laces on the ballerinas.
Tips for Taking a Great Photo:
- Avoid clutter. Keep the background simple -- your costume is the star!
- Daytime, natural light is best. If your area is bright enough, try taking the photo without the flash.
- Upload a horizontal photo. If you crop the image on your computer, make sure you keep a landscape 4:3 aspect ratio.
- For best results, make your image 1200x900 (or "save for web").
- With a digital camera, you can take as many photos as possible and choose the best one. Have fun!
